Passion!
Today, there was a dance meeting. But the turn up was lousy! Only 3 of us with Miss Chia and Mr Daniel. Lots of dancing next year! SYF, sport’s day, orientation piece, CCA exhibition, dancefest!! I think next year I’ll be dancing until I collapse!
I finally bucked up some courage to tell Ms Chia that I am having thoughts of quitting dance. She was appalled!! I am thinking of quitting not because I lost the passion to dance but more so because I am not an all-rounded dancer. For example, a Ballet dancer cannot do hip hop right? Most would find it difficult! I can’t do hip hop, furthermore, I once injured my knee in the course of doing hip hop. The dance I am learning is jazz. It is very sensuous, very sexy, more of extensions. The school emphasizes a lot on hip hop. Anyway, if I decide to stay, you may see me lesser on stage. But for now, I will finish the upcoming hip hop competition first! I am indecisive, anything can happen in future... But once I make up my mind, nothing can change it! ;-)
I was wandering around Bedok today. Then at NTUC, I saw Mdm Chen, my sec.2 Chinese teacher. She was with a guy and they were holding hands and giggling. Being cheeky, I approached them. Guess what? She introduced him as her brother. Haha..
She was holding her brother’s hands. She must be leading a sheltered life under the wings of her ‘brother’! I think her ‘brother’ is very sweet. Hehe!
She was at the crab section when I approached her. She actually asked me how to choose a crab and how to kill it! Do I really look like a housewife to her? Even my mum can’t cook crabs. She should ask me how to eat instead!!
Anyway, I think the Chinese teachers don’t know how to announce and proclaim their love, unlike the English teachers. Most of the English teachers are pregnant! Heheee!! I think it is the culture that shapes them. Shy lah!!! ;-P
