Kite-flying

The air smell fresh and the leaves were crisp. The sun was up early today. This is the weather to fly a kite!

Called Jie Yin, Sarah and Daijing to go kite flying. So, we went Pasir Ris to fly my little D.I.Y red kite. On the way to Pasir Ris, Dai jing found a handphone that belongs to an Indian man. He kept calling but ‘kind-hearted’ Dai jing refused to return it.

As we were flying my kite, I saw an Eagle fly up high in the sky but Sarah keep saying that it is a crow. Where got crow fly so high and majestic? I kept looking at the Eagle that I forgot about my kite.
I look at the Eagle and wonder how free I would be up in the sky. Flying to different countries without an air ticket.
Jie Yin said the Eagle came from Indonesia and it is flying back. She all sort of nonsense, so funny!

Then down my kite came and almost hit Jie Yin. When the kite finally got up in the sky, Dai jing saw a bolt of lightning. So we had to keep the kite before Jie Yin actually had the chance to take a picture of it in the sky. When it was coming down, the kite got caught in one of the shelters but we managed to salvage it. My kite is safe now, in case you were wondering.

Then Dai jing, Jie Yin and I (Sarah decided to stay at the benches) went to the beach to see what kind of fish a fisherman caught.. We were shocked when he unhook the fish and left it on the grass to die. It was gasping for air. We three tried to play hero to save it. Jie yin used a leaf to hold it by the tail but it struggled free. Dai Jing used her hand. And as for me, I just cheered them on. It keeps struggling so they keep dropping it. Then, Dai jing used all her might and hurled it back to the sea. Thank goodness it was still alive. WE, including me, saved a fish from the clutches of a fisherman. After that I went to play with some sea snails. But soon it rained and we ran to a shelter.

All of us ate ice cream in the rain when walking to the bus stop.. Jie Yin, Dai jing and I had slime on our hands because of the fish and the snails, but we hardly care. Eat first and worry later!

I was so hungry by the time we got to White Sands, so I went to buy some potato-cheese thing from Water Rise, a new shop. It wasn’t nice at all. Daijing kept sneezing cos of the pepper. Now I still have the after-taste of it! Yuck! Then I bought a pancake chicken burger from there for my dinner. Mummy went out again! Haiz.. no dinner again. That shop sells all pancakes. Don’t know why it is called Water Rise. Should call it Pancake Friend instead.

Jie Yin said the Indian man would hunt daijing. Hahaha.. It should be haunt.

Everywhere we went, we saw some Indians, I think Daijing’s conscience is pricking her.. Anyway, the handphone is so disgusting; she doesn’t even know whom it belongs to.. So germ-y! Who knows how the man handled his phone…

Here I am all alone at home again. Boring!
