Mandarin Day..

School is quite fun today..

First 2 periods of Chem Lecture, Boring!! Then because it was raining, we spent our SPE watching some Hockey program. It was quite funny though.

During Bio lecture, Mdm Nora got really angry because we took far too long to get settled. She is so crazy. Just because some people were late and the others kept talking, she skip one entire page and she didn't allow us to fill in the empty spaces. Now, we all have to catch up on it ourselves. This is so unfair.. But then again, Life is never fair.

After Bio lecture, we had Chinese. Some of my classmates decided to skip Mr Tan's Class and he wasn't very happy. Must be one of those moodswings.
During Chinese, I had to read a short paragraph.. Luckily Miss Yue gave me an extremely short one. Speaking in Mandarin feels so weird. I just can't seem to be able to pronounce the words properly. I sound as though my mouth is full of marbles. I feel as though I have lost touch with Chinese after not using the language. Miss Yue then made us do a worksheet and Gabriel came up with a brilliant idea when she was away. hehe..

Mdm Lim was late today and I tried challenging myself against a ge yao member. I was singing some silly songs like Bear Necessities. Mimi sang Lemon Tree. That's her 'forte'.

All of us were so lost during Mr Tan A.L 's class. He was scribbling some chemical equations on the board when the chilling wind came and all of us felt like sleeping. We made him explain over and over but the explanation just can't sink in.

School's finally over....3.30pm
Time for Othello...
Daijing and I walked all over the place as Chess only starts at 4.30pm. Then we decided to look for Xiao Ai in the drama room. As we were about to leave, Miss Mak came in. So happen I was standing at the door and she scared the wits out of me twice. Her face just appeared at the door. We seemed to be playing 'scare-each-other' game. Unknowingly, we joined the Chinese Drama for their orientation. It was so scary. There were so many China students. The air soon became thick with the voices of heavily-accent Mandarin. Of course I was suffocating. But the games were pretty interesting. One was the hunter and the bear game. The other was about reading the words back and forth. I learnt this," tian cai fa ming le dao zhuang ju.... pian pian yao wo dao zhe nian ...

Thoughout the whole game I was so amused by Miss Mak. She was so intriging, her expression I mean. Before I knew it, I was already in fits of laughter. She is nice and has a cute personality. From this I conclude there is still a child in everyone of us. She was nice enough to invite us to the orientation even though we are not from Chinese Drama. :-)

Throughout the whole time, Daijing and I were running in between Chess and the Chinese Drama orientation. I wanted to stay throughout the whole orientation but Daijing thinks we should go back. But the orientation was so fun. Not only do I get to speak mandarin but I also get to hear people speaking in perfect Mandarin. That's a rarity. I like those Chinese games, it is so cool!

What an interesting day!!
