Merry christmas-the eve

Merry Christmas to all!

It has been a wonderful year of fun, meeting and getting to know interesting people.

Things aren’t so good for me these few days. I am flaking. The skin around my nose is so dry and red despite applying Moisture Surge. It seems like my skin goes with the season. When it is winter, instead of snowing, it flakes dry skin. Haha..

I was with Jean the whole of today since 11am. She wanted to go look for New Year clothes. We met at Takashimaya. After browsing through most of the clothes, she realised they were all too mature for her. She then insisted we should go eat Sakae Sushi but there weren’t any at Takashimaya. So we walked all the way to Wheellock place just to have lunch. Finally, I suggested we should go Zara at Liat. She managed to pick out a skirt that suits her. I also saw an off-shoulder top that looks so cool. I have decided to buy it. When we were walking at Far East, I saw Denise Tan and Cassandra. Both looked happy and are in poly.

Disaster strike, a headache hit me. It was so throbbing, I felt giddy.

Jean is such a big spender. As we walking along Lucky plaza, she bought a pair of Jeans from Giordano. At Heeran, I saw my ex- Physics teacher, Miss Tan Liping. I didn’t know she still recognise me. I was always keeping a low profile in her class and yet she remembers me. She smiled at me and so I smiled back. I remembered she called me Miko because she heard Nicole as Miko. She even asked if I was Japanese.

Jean and I split at Tampines. She went to get a top from Tampines Mall and I went home to bathe. We meet again at 7pm in Church. She was surprised godma n family would be there. I insisted Jean should sit with Godma and she was so shy. That is the other side of her I never saw until today. Then the priest started singing solo. My godma was so sarcastic. She said her ears were suffering. Haha. Both Jean and Godma sang so loudly when O holy night was playing. They did play my fav Christmas songs, Feliz Navidad and the chipmunk song.

Jean came to my house after mass and left at about 10.30pm. She came to visit my grandpa. She was appalled at the difficulty of the maths assignment and how much I had to know for Bio and Chem. That didn’t surprise me because she is in Poly doing marketing. She doesn’t need to do mind-boggling Maths and memory capacity-filling Science.

But it was no doubt a wonderful Christmas eve.
