Into the holidays..

I started my day with Long John breakfast and a bottle of lettuce juice. Yuck! But I was forced to drink anyway.

SAC came out headlines on the New Paper. SAC has been using the wrong Lit books. Instead of studying ‘I am the King of the Castle’ and Shakespeare, they studied something else and miraculously most attained a distinction. Bravo!

Then I went to meet Mimi to go for my school’s carnival. She was so intrigued by everything, my school’s culture, the people, the place, the flowers, the monuments and statues and even the museum.

When we reach there, I saw my godma, she was in charge of some teacup rides. She thinks it is stupid. She was also complaining that her make-up was melting.

Then I saw Sister Jo (the teacher in charge of student council), Sister Ces (ex-principal of the Secondary school) and Sister Angela (ex-principal of the Primary School). Mimi was so excited when she spotted a nun wearing sandals. Excuse me… They are humans, you know! Mrs Chong, Mdm Chen, and Mdm Heng (Chinese teachers) all asked about my MT results and said I have improved drastically. Mrs Mark finally appeared. Mimi was so shocked because she is so drama-mama. Mimi thinks the way Mr Poh talked to me is crazy. He asked me to go back and play badminton. Overall, she was shocked by how friendly, dramatic and crazy the teachers are. That explains how I usually behave, can’t be help. I spent 10 years there.

Then we went to the Chapel and museum. Mimi was amused by everything. She went to take photos. She thinks the museum is so cool because there is the old kind of typewriter and sewing machine and many more. Then she went to take photos of the flowers and berries, she thinks it is cute.

I saw my cousin there too. There is a tradition in my family that all the girls go either KC or SAC and all the boys go St. Pat’s..

We were so addicted to a horse racing game. We, actually only me, played 3 times. We chose the black horse. It keeps winning. The game goes like that, you have to get the balls in some holes and the horse will move. The horse that reaches the finishing line first, wins a plush monkey. The first game we won with the help of a girl. I gave the monkey to Mimi. The next two rounds, we lost. We were so close to winning but the horse didn’t move. Something is wrong. Before we played the game, I was counting the probability of winning which is 1/8. So we decided to take a gamble.

Daijing was waiting for me at Bedok to go NUS open house. We were running late so I suggested we should take a cab. All ended well despite the big rush.

I went home and was forced to drink Fruits and Vegetable Yoghurt Drink. But it definitely taste better than the Lettuce drink.

Oh! My tuition teacher thinks I am going for a date.. Whatever made her think that way? *puzzled


14th..
My mum keeps grumbling about how unkempt I look and so I decided to cut my hair today. It was a very unwise decision because the boss recommended my mum a job when she casually mentioned that she is bored. My mum was so traumatised when she called the person who needed an employee. Then when the boss asked my mum for her number. She purposely gave the wrong number. Haa! What a trick.

My hair is short now but it is easier to dry.

Sarah and Daijing saw Mr Tan cb at Long John Silver with his family today. They were supposed to go and eat Tom Yam soup. According to Sarah Mr Tan’s hair is golden and spiked. Cool! A new resolution, a new change. I wonder if he looks cool now. Maybe like a DJ, then again, maybe not. Lucky I took a picture of him in the old look. Now that picture is …only memory. I can’t wait to see him on Monday..

15th..

I went to school today just to return my library book, was wearing shorts. Mimi went crazy, she kept commenting on my short and tight shorts. Aren't shorts meant to be short?

Don't know what's wrong with me today. I feel so hot the whole day.

Went to watch "Lemony Snicket's A series of Unfortunate Events" with Daijing and Xiao Ai at night. The movie is very good. All should watch. The words that are used, are cleverly phrase. The characters are also funny. A Victorian yet Gothic setting. Very interesting. There is also an evil villian in it, Count Olaf, played by Jim Carey and the Baudelaire Kids. ( I hope I spelled it correctly)

I never regret watching it.
